In a change from ticking Munros our final plan for the week was to ascend the prominent Cioch come rain or shine. Unfortunately it rained very heavily overnight and with water cascading down the whole crag we were forced to retreat from Collie's Route on Sron na Ciche. See the 2 photos below for the difference 12 hours can make in the weather conditions and water levels. This stunning waterfall is in the gorge above Glen Brittle farm. On the descent today we couldn't even see the falls through the cloud although we could defiantly hear them. Today I was working for Adventure Peaks.

Well done to Mike and Richard who weathered the storm bivi'd on the ridge and went on to complete a 2 day traverse of the main Cuillin Ridge in some horrendous conditions.
