Tempted out again yesterday by good weather on a supposed rest day we ventured up Place Fell and back along the shores of Ullswater to give a great little circuit with good views across to the Helvellyn range. The cold temperatures over the last couple of nights were generating some huge crystals on the remaining snowpack.
