Just finished servicing my skis as we're flying out to Chamonix tomorrow. After a couple of day tours we're planning to ski the High Level Haute Route to Chamonix with a couple of local variations forced on us due to fully booked huts. There's been plenty of snow in recent days but the warm temperatures have produced a high avalanche risk (Cat 4) for us to manage.
