Everest Fixed Line Practice
We revisited the Ben today and spent the day jugging up and descending fixed lines over a variety of terrain including some tricky little mixed steps at around grade III. Andrew & Heather were able to fine tune their technique and simplify their routines which should stand them in good stead above 8000m. The area below the CIC Cascade was perfect and even offered some steep ice to finish off the day. Today I was working for Adventure Peaks.
