Kentmere Horseshoe

After the rain on Tuesday today was a scorcher although very hazy. We went for a walk around the Kentmere Horseshoe to stretch the legs and in the hope of seeing our resident Golden Eagle There were plenty of folk out enjoying the dry conditions as we enjoyed a leisurely circuit. The eagle never made an appearance but there was plenty of other wildlife of interest including a red deer hind and calf and a couple of Redstarts.
